This is part of Peace Parks Foundation\u2019s ongoing efforts to support the government of Mozambique in providing important necessities to households, clinics, and health workers in areas where we have an operational footprint, so as to curb the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-5b.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15001\" width=\"734\" height=\"904\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-5b.jpg 734w, https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-5b-244x300.jpg 244w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 734px) 100vw, 734px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A COVID-19 awareness drive is also in the process of being conducted throughout 51 villages within the Massingir, Mabalane, Mapai and Chicualacuala districts. With the support from local chiefs, communities attended awareness sessions where they received information on the virus, safeguarding procedures like social distancing and quarantine protocols and participated in demonstrations of good hygiene practices. During this process government-endorsed awareness posters and bars of soap were handed out to the community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"688\" src=\"https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-2-1024x688.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15002\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-2-1024x688.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-2-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-2-768x516.jpg 768w, https:\/\/parquelimpopo.gov.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/LNP-2.jpg 1114w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Peace Parks has already made available more than $100 000 of its own resources towards such efforts in Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi, and are now focussed on securing further donations to help the approximately 75 000 households that require assistance.
